Enquiries and working together

This website presents my services and work. Sending an enquiry does not itself place a binding order. We agree the scope, price and terms individually before work begins.

For services described as introductions to specialists, my role is to arrange contact. We confirm the provider and scope of their service in advance.

Consumer dispute resolution

If you are a consumer and we cannot settle a dispute concerning my services directly, you may contact the Czech Trade Inspection Authority within its jurisdiction: Štěpánská 567/15, 120 00 Praha 2, Czech Republic. See the authority’s ADR information. For services supplied by an independent specialist, the competent body depends on the provider and type of service.

Enquiries and communication

I use your name, email, selected service and information you send to reply and discuss potential work. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)); for other questions, my legitimate interest in responding to correspondence (Article 6(1)(f)).

The form only prepares a message in your email application. I receive it after you send it. Providing data is voluntary; I cannot handle an enquiry without contact details and a description of your request. Enquiries that do not lead to a project are kept for no more than 12 months after the last communication.

Projects and website operation

If we enter a contract, I process necessary data to perform it, fulfil legal obligations and protect legal claims (GDPR Article 6(1)(b), (c) and (f)). Retention depends on the contract’s duration, applicable document retention requirements, limitation periods and any ongoing dispute.

Hosting providers may process your IP address, request time, requested URL and technical details to deliver content, secure the website and resolve errors. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in a secure, functional website. Technical logs are retained as needed for operation, incident investigation and legal obligations under the providers’ terms; this is separate from enquiry retention.

Recipients and international transfers

The website uses OpenAI Sites with Cloudflare infrastructure and Microsoft Outlook.com for email. Google / YouTube is involved when you allow the video. Data may also be received by parties necessary to deliver an agreed project or meet legal obligations. These services may process data outside the EEA, including in the United States, using adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses as applicable. Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw YouTube consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. You may complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection. I do not use automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects when handling enquiries.

Cookies & external content

Essential operation

The portfolio’s own code does not store advertising or analytics cookies. Hosting infrastructure may use essential technical measures for security and delivery. Fonts and the video preview are served as part of the website. We do not save the playback choice in persistent browser storage.

Interactive Japan demo

The itinerary demo remembers your light or dark theme and checked checklist items in your browser. These choices are stored locally using localStorage and are not sent to a server. You can change them in the demo or remove them by clearing the website’s data in your browser.

Optional YouTube video

The embedded player loads only when you choose “Allow YouTube and play”. This consents to loading external content and the associated transfer of technical data to Google, including any storage or access on your device for video playback. Google may also process data for its own purposes under its privacy policy. We use youtube-nocookie.com to limit personalisation; this does not mean that no data is processed.

Watching is optional. You can use the website without allowing the video. Consent applies only to the current page load. “Withdraw consent and close video” removes the player and stops further communication from it on this page; it does not delete data already transferred or Google cookies. You can also manage cookies in your browser. “Open on YouTube” takes you to a separate website governed by its own rules.
